At Press Room Embroidery, we believe in straightforward, honest pricing. Custom embroidery is a highly tailored craft, and our rates are calculated based on five key factors. Understanding these elements helps you maximize your budget for any order.
Because setting up commercial embroidery machines requires precise alignment, the cost per garment drops significantly as your volume increases. We offer tiered bulk discounts starting at just 12 items, ensuring maximum value for larger runs.
Unlike flat printing, embroidery pricing is driven by how many stitches it takes to reproduce your logo. A complex, fully filled crest requires significantly more thread and machine runtime than simple, elegant text.
The canvas matters. We source highly durable, premium-quality apparel brands. The choice between a structured, heavyweight hat, a professional performance polo, or a soft, organic cotton tee forms the baseline cost of your project.
Most clients choose a standard single location—such as the left chest or center cap. Incorporating additional design placements, like a custom website URL on the sleeve or branding on the back collar, requires a separate framing process.
Before embroidery begins, your artwork must be technically mapped for embroidery needles. We charge a small, one-time setup fee to digitize your file. Once completed, we store your digitized design permanently so future reorders skip this fee.
